Mr. Easter became Solicitor General on October 22, 2002. First elected in 1993, he represents the riding of Malpeque in Prince Edward Island. He has been Chair of the House Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans, and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans. Mr. Easter and his wife Helen co-own a mixed farming operation in North Wiltshire. They have two children.
John Malcolm - U.S. Deputy Assistant Attorney General
Mr. Malcolm is currently a Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal
Division of the Department of Justice, where his responsibilities include
the Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section, the Domestic Security
Section, and the Office of Special Investigations.

For seven years, Mr. Malcolm was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Atlanta, in
the fraud and public corruption section. He also served as an Associate
Independent Counsel in Washington, D.C. investigating fraud and abuse at
HUD. Before rejoining the DoJ in 2001, Mr. Malcolm was a partner at the
Atlanta law firm of Malcolm & Schroeder, L.L.P.

John Walsh is widely recognized as a tireless advocate for victim's rights and missing children as host of the nation's number-one crime-fighting show, America's Most Wanted: America Fights Back and also his own daily talk show.
Law Enforcement officials around the nation have honored Walsh for his efforts. He has received the FBI's highest civilian award, and is the only private citizen to receive a Special Recognition Award by a U.S. Attorney General. He has been honored four times by three presidents, and was recently asked by Colin Powell and President Bush to do a special America's Most Wanted featuring the 22 terrorists that now top the FBI's most wanted list.

The National Institute of Justice is the research and development agency of
the U.S. Department of Justice. Sarah Hart became NIJ Director in August
2001. She had been Chief Counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of
Corrections, after 16 years as a prosecutor in the Philadelphia District
Attorney�s Office. She provided substantial assistance to the Judiciary
Committees of the U.S. Congress in drafting the federal Prison Litigation
Reform Act (PLRA) and its 1997 amendments. Ms. Hart has served on various
committees, provided extensive training on the PLRA and corrections legal
issues, and published articles on federalism, corrections, and criminal law.
She is a graduate of Rutgers School of Law where she was associate editor of
the Law Review.

Giuliano Zaccardelli moved to Canada from Italy at age 7 and lived in Montreal until he joined the RCMP in 1970. His career across Canada included general officer duty, investigation of commercial crime, the Immigration and Passport Branch, and the Criminal Operations Branch. He became Commanding Officer for Ontario in 1995, a Deputy Commissioner in 1998, and Commissioner in 2000. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
Commissioner Zaccardelli is a popular and sought-after speaker on organized crime, globalization, cyber-crime and related issues.
He is perfectly trilingual in English, French and Italian and maintains strong ties to the Italian community. He holds a B. Comm. (Business Administration) from Loyola College.

Ward Elcock holds degrees in political science and law, and served as a lawyer in several ministries before joining the Privy Council Office in 1983. In 1989 he became the PCO's Deputy Clerk, Security & Intelligence, and Counsel, and in May 1994 he took his current position.
